Very Berry Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes

10-12 Strawberries finely chopped
1 cup Whole wheat flour (can also use pancake mix)
2 Eggs
1/2 cup Granulated sugar
1 cup Milk
1 tsp Baking powder
1 pinch Baking soda
As needed Butter
as needed Whipped cream (optional) 
1- In a bowl, add the whole wheat flour, baking powder and baking soda. Whisk to evenly mix all the ingredients. In another bowl, add the milk, eggs and sugar and beat well until dissolved. Add the flour mixture and mix until well combined. Fold in the chopped strawberries. Leave it aside for 10 mins.
2- Heat a nonstick pan and grease it generously with butter. Pour a scoop of the batter and cook the pancakes on low flame until bubbly on top and the edges are golden brown. Flip and continue to cook for 2-3 mins. Repeat with the remaining batter. Garnish with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Serve with butter and strawberry syrup.
