Enjoy these classic canapés made using Original Bisquick® mix and garnished with green onions – perfect appetizer to serve a crowd.

Ingredients

    cup Original Bisquick™ mix

  • 1/4

    cup water

  • 1/2

    cup finely chopped shaved turkey (3 ounces)

  • 1/2

    cup finely chopped shaved honey ham (3 ounces)

  • 1/3

    cup chutney

  • 3

    to 4 tablespoons whipping (heavy) cream

  • 1/2

    teaspoon curry powder

  • 1/4

    cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese

  • 1/4

    cup chopped dry-roasted peanuts

  • Sliced green onions or fresh chives, if desired

    Heat oven to 425°. Spray bottom and sides of square pan, 8x8x2 inches, with cooking spray.

    Stir Bisquick mix and water until soft dough forms; beat vigorously with spoon 20 seconds. Pat dough in pan, using fingers dipped in Bisquick mix. Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until crust begins to brown around edges.

    Mix remaining ingredients except cheese, peanuts and green onions. Spread mixture over baked crust. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until cheese is melted. For canapés, cut into 4 rows by 4 rows. Sprinkle with peanuts; garnish with green onions. Serve warm.
