Ingredients
-
2 1/2
cups Original Bisquick™ mix
-
3/4
cup milk
-
2/3
cup mayonnaise
-
2
tablespoons Dijon or whole grain mustard
-
2
tablespoons honey
-
1/4
lb (about 6 slices) deli ham
-
1
cup grated Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
Steps
-
1Heat oven to 375°F. Grease 13×9-inch (3-quart) baking dish.
-
2In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix and milk with wooden spoon to form thick dough. Dump out onto floured surface, and use floured rolling pin to roll into large rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
-
3In small bowl, beat mayonnaise, mustard and honey with whisk to make sauce. Spread a few spoonfuls sauce on dough (enough to cover). Top with ham and cheese.
-
4Starting with one long end, tightly roll up dough. Use sharp knife to cut into 8 equal rolls. Place rolls in baking dish, cut side down.
-
5Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden. Serve immediately with remaining honey mustard sauce.
Recipe Tips
-
tip 1
The ham may try to slide out as you roll it up; use your fingers to encourage it to stay in place as you roll.
-
tip 2
You can either drizzle the honey mustard sauce over the hot ham and cheese rolls, or use it as a dipping sauce.
-
tip 3
I used a sharp white Cheddar cheese, but any Cheddar cheese will do.
-
tip 4
This recipe can easily be doubled.
